SWAAG/AGX 2024 abstract deadline has been extended to Wednesday, September 18, 2024

All conference prices are the same for registrants from both groups:
  • Academics, Professionals, and All Others: $175
  • Students: $60
  • Complimentary registration with conference sponsorships
Access the registration/abstract portal and the payment portal via the links below: Registration is a three-step process. All steps must be completed to finalize your registration.
  1. Registration is being hosted this year on a third-party platform called Indico. If you have not already attended a conference using Indico, you will have to set up a free account, and create a username and password to enter the registration portal. This step requires email verification, so please plan to wait briefly for that email prompt to arrive in your inbox to move forward in the registration portal.
  2. Once you have established your Indico account and verified your email, complete your registration form, and upload your abstract in the AGX/SWAAG registration portal. Please complete all fields and ask questions if you have any issues with the registration process. Once you have completed your registration, you will be given instructions and a URL to cut and paste into your browser. That URL will take you to the Texas State TouchNet site where you can pay for registration and sponsorships.
  3. In the Texas State TouchNet site, click on the appropriate button and complete your payment information. Please be sure to enter the same email address that you used to register.

Sunday 10/6:
  • Two field trips will start mid-morning and run until the Welcome Reception
  • Welcome Reception at the LBJSC from 4pm-7pm
  • We may schedule a few sponsored panels or workshops on Sunday afternoon before the Welcome
  • Reception, but more on that soon.
Monday 10/7:
  • Full day of presentations/posters/panels (4-6 concurrent rooms + poster gallery)
  • Banquet luncheon in the Main Ballroom (included w/registration)
  • Dinner on your own in San Marcos
  • Evening GeoBowl Tournament & Pizza-Fest on campus Monday (included w/registration)
Tuesday 10/8:
  • Full day of presentations/posters/panels (4-6 concurrent rooms + poster gallery)
  • Lunch On Own; convenient on-campus food courts w/multiple options.
  • Awards Banquet in the Main Ballroom (included w/registration)
  • Student Awards and Conference Adjournment
